The back to back champion Selkirk Saints are gearing up for their first round opponents.
The Saints will host the Victoria Vikes this weekend in a best of three opening round series.
Before losing Saturday’s season finale, the Selkirk earned points in six of its previous seven contests.
Selkirk Forward Darnell Dyck says the loss was uncharacteristic of them.
He explains they’ll have to be ready for a good team when they kick of their contest against Victoria.
The Saints swept the season series 4-0.
Game 1 goes in Castlegar Friday.
