Should the city of Castlegar be thinking green or strictly dollars and cents when it comes to replacing pathway lights in Millennium Park?
Council is currently considering solar lights in the park after the previous lamps were damaged during the 2012 high water event.
Councillor Florio Vassilakakis says no matter what – the infrastructure needs to be replaced and they are mulling their options as they currently put together this year’s budget.
Vassilakakis says it is a priority because not having proper lighting down there is a safety concern.
