CBT gives big money to Avalanche Canada

A big investment from Columbia Basin Trust to Avalanche Canada.

They’ve given them $325,000.

CBT Director of Communications Delphi Hoodicoff says they want to support the organization’s successful education and public awareness efforts.

Avalanche Canada also needs funds to develop their new website that can reflect real-time data from back country users in the field.

CBT has funded one-off specific projects before but regard this two year pilot project as more of a partnership.
