Taghum Beach parking lot to close for maintenance

The Taghum Beach parking lot will be closed early next week for maintenance.

The work will begin on Monday and finish on Tuesday. The Regional District of Central Kootenay said crews will be grading, adding gravel, compacting the surface and applying dust control treatments to improve the road and parking area.

During this time, access to the park will be by foot only.

“Please use caution around the work area and respect all posted signs and directions from crews on site,” said the RDCK in a statement. “Thank you for your patience as we complete this work.”
