Chinchillas ready for forever home from BC SPCA!

This week’s unique Summit Pets of the Week from the BC SPCA West Kootenay are three chinchillas are ready for their forever home!

Marshmallow, Mochi, & Cotton!

If you are looking to triple the joy, triple the fluff, and triple the personality in your life, look no further. Meet Marshmallow (4 years), Mochi (2 years), and Cotton (1.5 years)-a tightly bonded trio of chinchillas who are ready to steal your heart!

These three musketeers are the perfect blend of sweet, playful, and wonderfully independent. While they aren’t big fans of being picked up and held (which is very normal for chinchillas!), they are incredibly social and curious. The second you open their enclosure or set up their playtime space, they will happily march right up to you, using you as their personal jungle gym and crawling all over your lap and shoulders. They are absolute masters of setting boundaries-they love being all up in your space, completely on their own terms!

Because they are already a beautifully established bonded group, they bring an instant, thriving community to their new home. However, if you already have a lonely chinchilla at home and are looking for companions, this sweet crew has a gentle nature that means they may be open to integrating with a new friend with the proper, slow introduction.

These three cannot be separated they are a bonded group. Learn more about meeting or adopting them here! https://adopt.spca.bc.ca/pets/792164/
