Dooley appointed to CBT board

A new public position for former Nelson mayor John Dooley.

He’s been appointed to the 12-person board of directors for the Columbia Basin Trust.

He will serve an initial three-year term.

Dooley joins four others from the West Kootenay on the basin-wide board.

They are Am Naqvi from Nelson, Trail’s Gord Derosa and Kim Deane, and Laurie Page from Nakusp.
