Trail/Rossland Chamber merger talks

The Trail and District Chamber of Commerce has been approached by the Rossland Chamber about a possible merger.

This from Norm Casler with the Silver City branch as the two sides will meet Thursday tonight for the first time to explore the pros and cons of a possible join-up.

Casler says it would be in the recently forged spirit of regional collaboration as they already cover most of the district.

Casler admits it is in the very preliminary stages and they will take a slow approach to the process with nothing guaranteed.
