Coroner rules out logging in freak Hway death

The investigation into Thursday’s tragic death on Highway 3 is just getting underway but the BC Coroner’s office has already ruled out any connection with commercial logging.

A tree tumbled down the bank near East Lake Drive outside Christina Lake hitting the Ford Escape that was passing by and killing the female driver.

Here’s Coroner spokesperson Barb McLintock.

Mclintock says while their probe is at a very early stage this does appear to be a very tragic act of nature not an act of man.
