A family in the Annable area of Warfield has lost everything, including their two cats, in a house fire.
Regional fire chief Terry Martin says 14 crew members from Trail joined a pair from Warfield in the response yesterday afternoon.
There were no injuries to people.
The family is now being looked after by the local Red Cross.
