The Selkirk Saints have received two commitments from former KIJHL players for next season.
Goaltender Brett Huber and Defenseman Nelson Hurry are fresh off finishing their junior careers with the Summerland Steam.
According to the Steam’s blog, Huber leaves the team as the franchise leader in games played, goals against average, save percentage, and shots faced while being awarded club MVP the past two seasons.
Hurry is a 6″6′ blueliner with 148 KIJHL games under his belt.
Nelson is the younger brother of former Saints netminder Chris Hurry.
