Atamanenko condemns widening mission against ISIS

Our local New Democrat MP thinks the Harper government is taking Canada down a reckless road by extending its mission against ISIS.

The Southern Interior’s Alex Atamanenko says he feels sick the Conservative majority passed a motion to extend and expand the bombing mission in the Middle East.

Atamanenko says this isn’t good for Canada which inititially went into Iraq under an advisory role.

Atamaneko says if the New Democrats are elected in October they’ll immediately pull troops out of Iraq and Syria.
