Hospital board pushes for Nakusp ER upgrade

The West Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital District will press Interior Health on upgrading the emergency room at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp.

It wasn’t included in this year’s capital plan.

Chair Marguerite Rotvold says the board wants to ask the health authority how to speed up the project.

Rotvold says the executive will meet with Interior Health to discuss the project’s costs and timeline.
