Greater Trail sewer use now being measured

Data will be collected over the next year to support the user-pay funding formula that is part of the sewer services agreement between Trail, Rossland and Warfield.

This as the RDKB is making strides after the deal was made January last year.

Here’s Manager of Infrastructure and Sustainability Goran Denkovski.

Denkovski says they wanted one year of flow data before implementing the user-pay funding formula in June of next year.

Until then municipal costs have been apportioned with Trail paying 62.5%, Rossland covering nearly 25% and Warfield responsible for 12.5% of costs.
