The investigation continues into the late night single vehicle crash outside of Castlegar Sunday morning.
Police are trying to determine what caused the car to go off Highway 22 just before 2 am and fall about 100 feet down an embankment.
Sergeant Laurel Matthew says all six occupants were in their early 20’s.
There were only five seat belts in the vehicle that was carrying six people.
The Castlegar Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to extricate four of them.
All of the occupants were transported to hospital but injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
