Trail set for key meetings in Victoria

Boundary expansion headlines a list of topics Trail’s Mayor and CAO will discuss with the B.C government in Victoria Thursday and Friday.

Mike Martin and David Perehudoff are off to the province’s capital to meet with Ministry officials.

Martin says the major sticking point when it comes to the City absorbing the Columbia Gardens in Area A involves Teck Trail Operations and Supplementary Letters Patent.

Martin and Perehudoff are also set to sit down with the Ministry of Transportation to discuss the demolition of the Old Bridge.

The two will also meet with the Ministry of Health to talk about upgrades to KBRH.
