Pull plug on Jumbo:local MLA

The Liberal government must finally call time on the Jumbo Glacier project.

That’s the message from Nelson-Creston New Democrat Michelle Mungall. This in light of an order from the Ministry for the developer to stop construction on two buildings because they’re in an avalanche zone.

She claims it’s clear the project isn’t going to happen and yet the Province keeps giving money to the uninhabited resort municipality.

Mungall says no one believes the developer has made a substantial start to construction as per their obligations.
