Drunks, indecent exposure and bears … the Nelson Police have had an interesting and busy past 72 hours.
Officers received a call Monday afternoon about a man in the 600 block of Front Street yelling, swearing and exposing himself to traffic.
He was taken into custody until he sobered up and police are recommending charges of causing a disturbance.
NPD members were then called to Silica Street Wednesday morning as a man was yelling and swearing at people.
Police arrested him and he was found to be in breach of conditions of his release.
And on Tuesday they had to respond to a home in the Uphill area due to a bear breaking into a residential garbage can.
