Rossland school’s outdoor garden

An Alpine City Parents Advisory Committee is raising funds to build an outdoor classroom at Rossland Summitt School.

The PAC has already received $5,000 of their $10,000 goal through online donations.

Volunteer Caley Mulholland says they plan to have it ready by the new school year.

Mulholland says there are many benefits to having students learn outside including an increase in physical activity, an improvement in concentration when back inside and an awareness of climate and environment.

Supporters can donate at yodel.org
