The timeline is looking optimistic for the city of Trail when it comes to the $9.8 million pedestrian pipe bridge.
The city has earmarked groundbreaking on the Columbia River crossing for the first week of September.
Engineering Technician Warren Proulx explains when they started determining costs at the beginning of the process they were dealing with a so-called “Class D” estimate … but that has changed.
Proulx says they’ll put the project out to tender by the end of this month and hope to award it by mid-July.
