SPCA dealing with Trail stray cats

What happens to the dozens of feral cats that are being removed from a neighborhood in West Trail?

BC SPCA Branch Manager Danielle Jackson says nearly 60 cats have been taken out of the area over the past five years but half of them have been during the last 12 months alone.

Jackson does note they have a 90%  adoption rate from their branch.

The other options may include sending the animal to a farm or outdoor colony.

Jackson says if the cat is unhealthy or overwhelmingly distressed the will euthanize the animal.
