Local RCMP want prolific offender back

An Alberta man is being summoned back to the region by local RCMP to face the music.

37 year old Jesse Lee Andrews has been charged with a dozen counts after allegedly breaking into businesses across the West Kootenay – Boundary at the beginning of 2014.

Corporal Kelly Hall with the Trail – Castlegar Crime Reduction Unit says the 12 stores  were linked during initial investigations.

Andrews is currently in police custody in Alberta on other matters.

Hall says due to the number of charges and the communities impacted it is important the suspect is brought back to B.C to be held accountable.

An Alberta-B.C wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.
