Bike rentals coming to Gyro Park in Trail

Bike rentals should soon be available in Trail’s Gyro Park.

The city is teaming up with Gerick Cycle and Sport to offer discounted bicycles for locals or tourists to use and explore the area.

City councillor Sandy Santori says the service should be available soon.

A map of the recreational trails in the Silver City and surrounding communities like Rossland is being created by the city as well.

Trail’s Career Development Services will rent the bikes, with the city spending up to $2,600 to cover $5 of each rental.
