Lieutenant governor tours West Kootenay

BC’s lieutenant governor continued her six day trip through the West Kootenay-Boundary with a stop in the Queen City last night.

Judith Guichon made quite an entrance into Touchstones Nelson yesterday afternoon.

She’s visiting a total of 13 communities throughout her stay in the region.

She says one of her goals during her tenure is to visit every valley of this province.

Guichon is also appearing at 15 schools while in the region.

She starts today at Trafalgar Middle School before taking off to Salmo, Fruitvale and Montrose later on.
