Farmer’s market proposed for downtown Trail

Some more food for thought in Trail.

Local Gina Ironmonger is looking to get a farmer’s market started in Silver City’s downtown.

Ironmonger also helps organize the incrEDIBLE Trail initiative in the city’s core.

She says the success of initiatives like that show there is an appetite in the community for things like this.

incrEDIBLE TRail has downtown businesses sponsor planters that grow produce passerbys can take for free.

Ironmonger says there’s a need for locals to support farmers and producers.
