A call by Nelson police for motorists to be alert to cyclists, pedestrians and motorbikes around them.
This after a vehicle hit a cyclist Thursday morning on the corner of Vernon and Hendryx.
A police officer saw the incident and issued a violation ticket to the driver for making an unsafe turn.
The cyclist sustained non life-threatening injuries.
