Hall St project update

The major public amenity at the top of Nelson’s Hall Street will start to take shape soon.

As part of the first phase of the big corridor project a piazza feature will be built with large seating steps.

So far crews have set a large concrete retaining wall that backs on to IODE Park.

Gas lines are now being buried deeper so the steps can be put in.

Crews continue to make progress along the upper part of hall street towards the intersection of Vernon St which will soon be shut down.
