The local woman suing over the Lemon Creek fuel spill is looking at possible crowd funding to pay for the law suit.
Marilyn Burgoon is still waiting for her trial date against the Province and Executive Flight Centre for the spill of tens of thousands of litres of fuel in July 2013.
The parties can’t agree a date although April next year is possible.
She says even by calling just a handful of witnesses and cross-examination the costs could run to $200,000.

She’s confident she can prove guilt in terms of damage to fish and the environment.
The federal crown has yet to decide if it will take over the prosecution.
