Selkirk College’s Board of Governors has approved the 2015-16 budget that has a $43.1 million bottom line.
Director of Finance Barb Ihlen says despite some cuts to their Provincial Operating Grant they’ve focused on admin cuts in recent years.
Programming options have been extended too. So for example savings from reducing the aviation program recently have gone to other growth areas.
Selkirk employs almost 600 people across eight facilities with $30 million  in salaries.
