Consequences of low Arrow Lake levels

The very low levels on Arrow Lake this summer won’t hurt boating to the south as much as the north.

But a local rural director still has issues.

And Area J’s Rick Smith says there are other potential consequences.

He says BC Hydro has assured him those spawning channels and access to Syringa and Anderson Point boat launches won’t be affected by a reduction of up to 15-feet in levels.
