Update on search for local man

RCMP on Sunday issued an update on the search for missing man Joe Moyer who was reported missing Saturday.

Nelson RCMP and Nelson Search and Rescue conducted a ground search of the area around JOE MOYER’s residence on Blewett Road and the Kootenay Canal/Rover Creek area last evening.
To date no signs of MOYER have been located.  Friends and family advised they will be conducting their own searches Sunday morning, with Nelson Search and Rescue regrouping this afternoon.
Family is very concerned as MOYER has not been eating regularly and his condition when last seen was described as weak.
If anyone has any information, please contact Nelson RCMP or call 911.
