Warfield hill truck crash

A major inconvenience but no serious injuries after that semi truck roll over on the highway hill down from Rossland Saturday.

The truck flipped on its side and slid up to 100-feet at Warfield.

Regional Fire Chief Terry Martin says luckily no one was coming the opposite direction at the time. All four lanes were blocked and the truck was spilling fuel so they had to close it down for about five hours.

There were two exceptions.

Martin says it appears it was a brakes issue and it’s under investigation.
