Only two people have stepped forward to fill a pair of vacancies on Salmo Village council.
That means a by-election won’t be needed after all.
Diana Lockwood and Jonathon Heatlie both submitted their names before Friday’s deadline.
They’re expected to take the place of Cathy Paton and Ken Anderson who recently resigned.
