CGR councillor offers apology for leak

A Castlegar city councillor has been given a warning from the mayor.

Councillor Bruno Tassone apologized to mayor Lawrence Chernoff and fellow councillors for leaking confidential information which was subsequently published on a website.

While Tassone was forgiven, Chernoff didn’t mince words in addressing the issue at last week’s council meeting.

The incident was described as “an error in judgement ” on Tassone’s part.

There’s no word exactly what information was leaked.
