RDCK and Teck to review new dock locations

The RDCK will be chipping in $10,000 for a feasibility review regarding potential locations for a new boat launch in the Taghum/Blewett area.

The land being looked at is owned by Teck.

The RDCK and the company both have potential locations.

Regional Director Ramona Faust says this will be good use of taxpayer money.

The dock that served as access to Kootenay River for the area was shut down by Teck due to contamination issues.
