Christina Lake Fire Chief Ken Gresley-Jones says his fire department is ready for any eventuality.
And he’s been thanking all the agencies for helping in those preparations.
He’s talking about special high volume water pumps, emergency generator equipment and specialist sprinkler protection units.
They are ready to be deployed if any of those embers do indeed spark a fire across the border.
