Victoria St bridge closure

The Victoria Street bridge in Trail will be undergoing repairs starting September 14th.

Both eastbound lanes will be closed during this time and traffic will be diverted to one lane each way.

After that is completed the workload will be shifted to the westbound lanes with traffic running in single lanes on the eastbound side.

6 weeks have been set aside for the project but it is expected to be completed earlier.

Regional Fire Chief Terry Martin is awaiting word for emergency vehicle protocol as well as information on road markings and lighting.
