An event is being planned for Canada Day weekend to mark some big milestones for the city of Castlegar.
Joanne Baker is chair of the committee planning the homecoming event.
She says the committee has support from city council and is working towards setting up a number of events for Homecoming Weekend.
It will include breakfasts, tours of the town, and a wine and cheese event.
