Changes are coming to a long standing community beautification group in Creston.
The Creston Valley Spirit Committee is being restructured.
For 20 years it’s acted as a Standing Committee of Town Council.
Chair, Jen Comer says its terms of reference are no longer aligned with the committee.
Comer says the same core group of volunteers will be involved but this opens it up to others.
Over the years, the Creston Valley Spirit Committee has spearheaded a number of projects including hanging baskets, murals and the festival of lights.
