Grand Forks to hire new bylaw officer

Unkempt properties and maintaining watering regulations will be the main tasks of an extra by-Law enforcement officer in Grand Forks.

City council has been receiving many complaints about things like hoarding from residents and it’s taking too long to respond.

Grand Forks currently has only one bylaw officer who juggles several other tasks .

The new employee will work on contract until the end of October filling uncovered hours on evenings and weekends.
