Missing woman found deceased in US

The body of missing local woman Neva Evdokimoff has been located in the United States.

She was found Friday by Stevens County sheriffs in the Columbia River in Washington State.

Evdokimoff had been missing for more than two weeks. There were extensive search and rescue efforts last month when the 48 year old was reported missing.

Her vehicle was found parked at Gyro Park in Trail and she was seen on surveillance footage walking towards the beach.

RCMP say foul play is not suspected and they continue to investigate with the coroners office.
