A new playground has been unveiled for the intermediate grades at J.V. Humphries school in Kaslo.
Mayor Suzan Hewat says it’s a lot better than the old one.
The parent advisory council has been working on the project for three years.
They raised money themselves and also received $83,000 from the Columbia Basin Trust, and further help from the school district and village.
