Nelson has signed on to a mobile business license initiative.
It’s intended for businesses such as plumbers or electricians who work in multiple communities.
Chief financial officer Colin McClure says the goal is to allow them to obtain a single business license.
Other communities expected to participate are Castlegar, Creston, Kaslo, and Rossland.
Something similar already exists in Greater Trail.
