Chamber boss welcomes mobile business license

Nelson’s Chamber of Commerce manager is happy a West Kootenay mobile business license is almost here.

Tom Thomson says it’s something he and his regional counterparts have been working on for a while.

Starting next year businesses that operate in more than one community will be able to get a single license.

Castlegar, Rossland, Creston, and Kaslo are also expected to participate.

Something similar already exists in Greater Trail.
