Nelson city council is supporting the Selkirk College Student Union’s Don’t Close the Doors campaign.
They’re protesting provincial cuts to funding for adult basic education.
The college says it’s doing everything it can to ensure money isn’t a barrier including providing a bursary.
But the students union is concerned it isn’t sustainable.
