Jones to retire as schools superintendent

The Kootenay Lake school district is looking for a new superintendent.

Jeff Jones has announced his forthcoming retirement, although he’ll stay on for the next several months and a period of transition as the board seeks his replacement.

Jones was an educator and administrator in Calgary for 23 years before becoming Kootenay Lake superintendent in 2010.
