Campground fees going up

Fees at the Nelson campground are going up a bit when it reopens May 1st.

Manager Sarah Winton says the exact amount depends on the type of site you want.

Winton says their rates are still similar to other local campgrounds.

The campground is operated by the youth centre and last year had revenue of $108,000.

It also saw extensive upgrades including the addition of ten new tenting platforms.

Those are $26 per night.

Measles cases reported in B.C. this year top 100
