Learn the risks of fentanyl in Nelson

A panel discussion for all youth, parents and guardians on the risks of fentanyl goes at Nelson’s L.V. Rogers school at 7 tonight.

Nelson police Det.-Sgt. Nate Holt will be among the guests.

He says it’s important not to spread panic but to keep a balanced, informed perspective.

Fentanyl and carfentanil are extremely powerful, potentially fatal. and often taken unknowingly.

Nelson Leafs coach Sean Dooley, who overcame fentanyl challenges, and his mother Pat are also on the panel.
