Selkirk College will join three other Canadian post-secondary institutions in a trip to Kenya.
Dean Pat Bidart will be the local college’s representative in an effort to create a more vibrant economy in the African country.
Bidart heads to Kenya later this month.
She says she’s excited to learn more about Kenyan culture.
The project is part of a three year initiative to strengthen post-secondary opportunities for Kenyan youth.
