An education and prevention specialist with ANKORS says harm reduction housing would be a big help in Nelson.
Chloe Sage spoke at this week’s release of the city’s annual report card on homelessness.
She says it’s housing where drug abstinence isn’t required although support systems are in place.
Sage says that kind of housing would be a lot cheaper than what we’re now spending on emergency rooms.
