Three students have been named as the first to receive the Neil Muth Memorial Scholarship.
The award was established by Muth’s family and the Columbia Basin Trust after the late CEO’s passing last year.
Michael Cupello from Trail, Cole Hoodicoff from Castlegar and Natalia Grass from Golden each receive $3,500 dollars to further their studies.
Muth’s widow says more than 100 applications came in.
